About us
First off, no we don’t sell muffins! We were sitting around thinking of what to name the business. We were discussing names like Lancaster Fry Company, Fries R Us, Potato World and a myriad of other names. Then my son-in-law Steve said how about “Spud Muffin?” Wow, that’s catchy! We agreed and Spud Muffin was born. It’s a play on the words “stud muffin” what all guys think they are in their prime. Our mascot “Spuddie” is emulating what we wished we were with arms crossed, looking cool with his shades on, if we were a potato.
Spud Muffin was born out of the passion for cooking for family and friends in backyard events over the years. It is a small family owned business run by a father and daughter team with the help of family members, sisters, husbands and wives. We pride ourselves in using locally sourced products whenever possible. Thanks to all of you who have supported us from the beginning. We hope to see you in central PA at some local event!
